Are you sure you want to permanently delete... in the "Deleted Items" folder

Hi,
When I've read my mail I tend to just delete it, instead of "filing
it" in some folder or other, because most of it I don't really want to
keep. However, I like to keep my "Deleted Items" folder intact (ie.
with all my deleted messages still in it) as every now and again I
need to look back at some old message.
Every time I exit Outlook it asks me the above question^. I know that
one day I will accidentally press "Yes" and lose all my old e-mails.

Is there any way of disabling this question?
Or if not, is there any way of automatically moving the contents of
this folder to somewhere else that won't be deleted?
Or can anyone think of any other clever ideas to solve this problem?

Thanks
JP.

This is going to sound like a stoopid question, but when you are work, do
you use the trash can as a important document filing location? If the
answer to this is no, then don't do it in Outlook because sooner or later,
you will lose those items. Learn to file it into sub folders and use the
archive manager.

In the meantime, see tools | options | other. make sure the option to empty
deleted items up exit is unchecked. select the advanced options button and
then check the box about warn. This should be enough to keep out of trouble
for a bit, but keep in mind if in a corporate environment, the network gods
can override this and make sure your deleted items folder gets purged on a
regular basis.
