Are there any PDA's with an X86 CPU?

Hi!!!!!

By any chance do you know if there are any PDA's, handhelds, cellphones
or any other mobile device with an X86 processor running Windows CE or Pocket
PC in the market?

I'm asking this question because my Visual Studio.NET 2003 is creating
cabs for an X86 processor, which I'm hoping it is just for emulators. This
question is very important to me since the CEAppMgr.Exe has a limitation in
the number of characters in the "CabFiles" line (up to 255). If I take these
two cabs for the X86 from the list, I can include all the others and the
CEAppMgr.Exe will work just fine.

Any information is greatelly appreciated!!!!

x86 is only for the emulator. most devices running PocketPC2003 are
ARM-based.

It would be possible to produce a PDA-type device which was not a Pocket PC
and which was based on an x86 processor. My guess is that 'power' is the
main reason you don't see these around much...

All Smartphones and Pocket PCs from 2002 onwards are ARM based (Pocket PC
2000 may also include SH3 and MIPS devices).

If you did you'd have to carry a backpack for the battery (ok, maybe just a
large belt clip). x86 suck for power consumption, which is why phones and
PDAs don't use it.
