Wow, you mean you don't get a Sams Choice screen where it asks you to insert
your Wal Mart Internet Service CD to verify you bought it there? heh heh heh

Yes - those are regular retail CDs. Make sure now that you get one with
Service Pack 2 included (it says so conspicuously on the box) and that
it is an Upgrade, for computers with windows 98 or ME (also on the box)

You have to show it the CD of the qualifying product during setup ,
which must be a 'proper' retail CD of 98 or ME, with a Win98 or Win9x
folder of cab files. Some maker's restore or recovery CD will not be
recognised

Yes, provided you own a legitimate license for an earlier, qualifying
OS, and that OS isn't in use on or bound to any other computer.

No, you'll have to insert the Win98 installation CD to verify that you
qualify for the upgrade. Further, it must be a true installation CD,
not an OEM Recovery/Restore CD.

As per all the other replies, i also wanted to add if you already have one win
xp disk from wal mart or wherever, if you want to get a second one, go online to
microsoft and just purchase a new key.. it'll save you 20 to 25 dollars over
buying the whole cd again..
