Are new motherboards supposed to be shrink-wrapped?

G

gotmail?

I bought p4p800 deluxe from newegg.com. The box came not
shrink-wrapped. While everthing looks new and accessaries
are in sealed bags, the motherboard could have been used
before me since it can be easily accessed. What's your
opinion?

I don't ever recall seeing motherboards shrinkwrapped.

Box would have been shrink wrapped, not difficult to do really (providing
you have equipment) As long as the anti static bag looks sealed you should
be ok, otherwise you can check the mounting holes for signs of screws being
used in them (as per previously stated!)
