Archiving - manually not working

Hi y'all,

Got a little issue i can get around, got to do
with manually archiving items, if i select to archive any
items older then "Today" then everything gets archived,
but for example i know for a fact i have items which are
dated 03/05/2003 - when i specifiy to archive items older
then 01/05/2003 it doesnt archive anything...I've tried
chaning regional & date settings to no avail, has anybody
come accross this issue ?

Check the Modified date on the items that aren't being archived as you think
they should. That's the date Outlook uses to determine whether or not an
item is ready to be AutoArchived (or archived manually as you were doing),
and a simple action such as moving the item to another folder can change the
Modified date. More information and a list of actions that change the
