Archive.pst not working with OL2007

I recently installed the final Office 2007 prof german. While working with
the Beta 2 TR I never had problems with my archive.pst file. Since
reinstalling OL keeps asking me to repair the pst file using scanpst.exe
(which is btw apparently not installed with Office but thats another post).
I did a repair using Office 2003 scanpst.exe and it found and repaired some
errors but OL 2007 will still not accept the archive.pst.
The file is located on a network share.
I read something about having to copy the pst to a local application folder
- but that was regarding B2TR, is that still true? If so, that's bad because
I am a roaming user and use my outlook on different workstations including
some terminal servers and I do not want to have an archive on each of these
machines...

Any ideas are greatly appreciated

Office 2007 does come with scanpst. It is in Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE12.
Try that one.
