Archive doesn't work on certain e-mail folders.

When I run Archive at the Inbox level, certain subfolders are not archived
according to the specified date limit. I've checked that these individual
folders do not have archive settings that differ from the Auto Archive
settings...any ideas?
 
Archive operates on the date the item was last modified....that could
explain this. You can manually move whatever you like to the archive
folder.....
