Archive doesn't seem to be working

Using Outlook 2000 in a Corporate enviornment and our Mail boxes are limited
to 40meg on the exchange server. This is only a problem as our calendars now
about 30 meg and archiving seems to work but doesn't seem to reduce the size
of the calendar. What are we doing wrong..?

Is there a way to setup views to delete all the old calendar items at once..

thanks

You sould switch your calendar to a list view, sort by end date and then
delete everything prior to now by clicking the first, then shift-clicking
the last to select everything in between and, finally, pressing Delete.

are the old items getting deleted? if not, the modified date is causing
problems.

you can create a custom view that only shows older items. Create it using a
table view and choose advanced tab on the filter options.
