Best free one i've found is Fantastic 3D Fish Aquarium Screen Saver 2.5
from http://www.screensaverfx.com. However the shareware options such as
SereneScreen still blow it away IMO, but see for yourself.

Richard

See the 'Free Tank' on the left hand side. Not much of a background, but the
lighting effects and the realistically rendered fish and their swimming
motions make this one impressive.

What kind of a graphics setup does the computer have? If it's got a good
video card, then my favorite fish saver is Marimo Software's Fish Saver
2 ('Fish Flow'). The site is hard to find, so you can get the saver here:

http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/acf/P_GRAPHICS.php

Search the page for the word "Marimo" and you'll go right to it.

Hmm, at one time you could download the free one directly from the site.
I've had mine for some time now -- it's clearly identified as 'Free version'
under help info. I suspect this might be a mistake at download.com. I would
say dl it and test it out. Perhaps they've gone to a model where -- after 15
days -- the trial version reverts to the free one.

It appears there is still a free version (bundled nagware). The info
here looks current:

Download SimAQUARIUM Tank-4 and Free tank!
v2.311
File size: 5.4 Mb

also note. . .

v 2.3 is available from Tucows

An old 2 MB VRAM video card not enough?

Sorry but no, it isn't. I'm running a GeForce 4 with 128 mb on it. I've
seen the save work fine on a system running a PCI based video card with
64 megs on it though. Not sure what the bottom limit is, but I'm
positive that the saver wouldn't run on your system.
