Hiya,

Anyone run the above on a 9600 Pro? Have registered to compare online but
Mailwasher ate (deleted) my confirmation e-mail!! - whilst waiting for
access to compare I just wondered whether others have tried and how they
fared?

CPU - 4165
Score - 24,243

Asus A7V8X
XP2100+ (palomino)

not that it's a relevant reply,

i'm running a geforce 2 Ti on a system which is pretty much top o' the
range, and get a score of about 8300.

think it's time for an upgrade...

Thanks all.

Looking to upgrade to a Barton XP2800 soon with another stick of 512meg
PC2700 memory. Should see an improvement in the real world and, judging by
some of the scores here, in the benchmark world too.

Cheers, Shawk.

(Support at Aquamark didnt get back to me so it looks like I'll have to
re-register to do any more comparisons)

So how do you explain that one then?
I am running the same driver set, an XP2600 overclocked to 400fsb and 400fsb
memory and 2.2ghz and with a radeon 9700 pro overclocked to 9800 pro speeds
on an abit nf7s and I still dont get near yours. Hows that then?

I honestly can't explain it, maybe running the 9700pro at 9800pro speeds
isn't enough to give same results?

Even if I pumped up the core even more it wouldn't give those results,
something is amiss here. I am running at 400fsb, you are at max running at
333 and I doubt that with such a HUGE overclock on cpu (no doubt running at
266)....So something is amiss, either you are cheating or this bloody
scoring mechanism is all wrong....

I'm running the memory 200fsb (2 sticks in slots 2&3) and cpu 10.5x200
I only downloaded aquamark this evening, I didn't know that you can cheat
it.
