April Security patches

Have had two issues since updating patches
One is with winamp issues causing crashes and other is that i had to delete
then system restore to get MSN messenger to come back. Will the new patch
update on April 25 fix the issues such as the little quirks

What winamp issues?

We had an experience on one machine here giving a "directSound output v.2.42
(d) error"

solved it for us. Didn't have to update any drivers.

IM not able to dl any streams just once and awhile only since this patch. I
think thats why its being affected John. It also crashes

I th ink its the direct x workaround and spyware fixes that did it in.
