If Outlook 2007 (always tell us your version - lots depends on it), look
under Tools->options->e-mail options->advanced e-mail options->Delete
meeting request from in-box when responding.

After furious head scratching, smaltby asked:
| Is there a way to delete the Acceptance email from my inbox without
| also deleting the appointment in the calendar? Seems odd that I need
| to let them all sit in my inbox.
