Apps keep crashing

Hi

I (foolishly) downloaded some screensavers recently and have now found that
various applications (particularly IE) now keeps crashing. Sometimes others
like Excel and wireless router also crash.

I have McAfee Internet security and PConPoint installed and have scanned and
cleaned/repaired as far as they allow but still get crashes.

Any more ideas on what I can do to isolate problem? Or is it a case of
total reinstall??

Try doing a repair on the affected programs.

Most programs will have the repair option in their Add/Remove Programs
options.
