Appointment Reminders

I am running Outlook XP on WIN NT 4.0, when i recieve
reminders for appointments it only shows in the taskbar.
On Outlook 98 on WIN NT, the reminder use to pop up mid
screen. Is there a fix? Thanks.

What is checked in the "When new items arrive in my Inbox" section of
Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options?
