Appointment deleted but reminder still appears

Outlook 2000 SP-3. I deleted an appointment, but the
reminder keeps popping up every few minutes. When
attempting to dismiss, I receive the message appointment
can not be found.

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders switch. If you need

Problem went away with new calendar day.
