applying group policies to select users

Running W2k SP4 with Citrix Metaframe 1.8 SP4

this server is a standalone server in a work group with no
other servers.

i ran GPEDIT.MSC and i made some changes to the way
internet explorer interacts with the operating sytem.

in GPEDIT.MSC i made the changes under local computer
policy/user configuration/ administrative templates/
windows components/ internet explorer

when i make the changes, GPEDIT.MSC makes the changes
system wide, all users including administrators see these
changes. but i want only certain users to see these
changes. not all.

i dont know how to do this. can anyone help me?

Hey Mike,

The only way to do this with group policies would require joining a domain
and then creating a GPO with a filter based on users/groups. Since you
don't have this option, the only thing I can suggest is to remove those
settings from the local Grup policy and then create a set of .Reg files to
apply w/Regini as part of a logon script to apply to users.
