Applying GPO to member of a security group

Can anyone tell me how to apply GPO to member of a
security group ?
I've tried to put a group on an OU but the Group Policy
does not affect to the group member. I still use Windows
2000 Server SP 4

At point no 4.a you mention 'Add the one user', I want the
group policy apply to all member group, can i add the
group instead of the user ?

This is how you do it;

In ADuC, Right click on your GPO > Properties. On the
security tab notice Authenticated Users has a check in
the Apply Group Policy box, clear this box. (leave the
read box checked) Then add the security group you want to
apply the GPO to. Click the Apply Group Policy box on
that Security group and your done. Repeat these steps to
add additional Security Group Filters.
