Apply rule after message is read

When You create a new rule, the only two starting options
are "Check messages when they arrive" and "Check messages
after sending". I want to create a rule that moves a
message to a specified folder, but only after I have read
the message. In other words I want it to "Check messages
after they have been read". When I receive a message that
matches the specified criteria, I want to open and read
it and then when I close it the rule kicks in and moves
it to the specified folder. Does anyone know if this is
possible?

That feature doesn't exist. Why not just move the message?

No, this it not possible (at least not with the available rules in Outlook)
