I got a new hard drive a while ago. Computer had Windows ME, got it back with
Windows XP Professional. I've had the computer put away until about a week
ago when I got Internet. When i try to open these programs
(Word,Excel,PowerPoint, ect.) it asks for a 25 digit CD key code that is
supposed to be on the back of the CD jewel case. I don't have a jewel case. I
don't understand. I didn't download these programs myself. Shouldn't it have
been installed when Windows XP was? My question is how can I install these
programs? Is there a way to get that code from my computer? Is there another
way to get these programs running? Please help.

This code will not be stored on your computer, you will need to go back to
the person who installed these applications and request the code from them.

Check the packaging with the CDs.
The Product Key should be there.
Otherwise contact the seller.

Hello Guys, I am getting worried. Isn't it kind of weird that a few people
are having a problem istalling their Microsoft CD programs(As am I)? I am
paranoid because I just went thru the depths of hell to get rid of the "evil
spirits" psoessing my computer.(Just kidding about the "evil spirits"),
Please advise, GR

This is not a problem with installing a program. He had his system
reinstalled with Windows XP and the installer probably used an image with
all the applications installed and he now needs to enter his CD-Key for
them.
