Application problem after repair.

After running W2000 PRO repair to fix a corrupt Administrator profile, I am
now having problems with MS Office and Outlook Express.

When launching OE or Word, the system wants the application installed. All
the programs and files are still on the HD. What can I do to these
applications back without doing installs?

If I do need to do an install, will I lose my previous settings and files?

TIA,

Better to ask in an office or word group for the word problem and an OE
group for the outlook express problem. (oe is not part of the office
install)
