application not found in iexplore

Windows XP sp2, 2.3GHz, Removed Trojan Vundo using VundoFix V6.7.8 by
Atribune. Then tried to use Dial-a-fix.(This has worked before on other
clients computers). I also ran Xoftspy to remove any remaining problems.
When I opened IExplore it goes to Google. But all other sites come up with
'application not found'. I was hoping that installing IEXplore 7 would help
but I can't get past the problems with IE 6.
Thank you for any help.

Also, when I tried to run dial a fix it I got an access error for the
muweb.dll file "Access violation at address 50B2C7C in module 'muweb.dll'.
Read of address ffffffff."
Thanks

Try Start, Run, type "sfc /scannow" without quotes and hit Enter.

You will need your CD. You may encounter problems if your CD does not
include SP2.
