Application Load Speed/Performance

HI,

We have been developing and testing our application with Compaq IPaq
pocket pc with processor type as ARM SA1110(Strong ARM) with 64 MB RAM.
While deploying application we are using the "ARM" cab file to deploy.

The same application when we test with DELL AXIM XScale processor with
the same "ARM" cab, it is working fine, But it is taking almost double
the time to load then it was taking in Compaq Ipaq with SA1110
processor. Even processor clock speed is higher in Dell axim.

Should we use different cab (ARMV4 or some other)?? Why is there so
much difference between the loading time??

you should use the Armv4 for the XScale PXA270 in your Axim.

Thanks for your reply.

Even if we use ARMv4 cab, there is no performance increase. Its the
same load timings as in ARM cab. And what i am worried about is the
same application with less memory and less clock speed (Compaq ipaq) is
working faster in my pocket pc.

Is it regarding a faster/better processor?? Why is there so much
performace difference between two different pocket pcs?? Using ARM cab
with intel pxa270 processor may cause any problems???
