application failure

whenever i try to access a file under My Computer, i get a message saying
that the system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows
applications and to choose 'Close' to terminate the application. I didn't
have problems with it yesterday. Today, i don't know what to do to fix it.

If the system file referred to in the error message is command.com,
autoexec.nt or config.nt, then have a look at the information here:
