application error

After a power failure, I am unable to use Outlook Express
which prevents me from using e-mail. I receive the
following application error: The instruction
at "0x00f7680f" referenced memory at "0xfffffff" The
memory could not be written. I rebooted several times.
I downloaded Internet Explorer 6 service pack 1 but that
didn't help. I went to control panel to add/remove
programs but Internet Explorer is not listed. I had hoped
to attempt a reapir of Internet Explorer but was prepared
to delete it and start over. Unfortunately, I can't
access Outlook to export my address books. Dell and my
ISP can't or won't help. I am helpless in Atlanta.

Your address book should be found from folder C:\Documents and
Settings\<your userid>\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book. Or somewhere
there. I use Windows XP and that's where I have my address book. Application
Data folder might be hidden so you must make hidden folders visible from
Folder Options.
