application error message

Could someone please help me here, I keep getting the
following message while trying to play Black hawk down-
dfbhd.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly
(0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.
Any help would be appreciated thanks

Could you give your system specs? dxdiag.txt would also be helpful.
Start>Run"dxdiag" then save all info and attach it to your post. That will
give info on your system to help troubleshoot the problem..

Do you have the latest vidoe and sound drivers? Latest patch for game? Do
other games run fine? Have you run the D3D tests in dxdiag?
