Application does not show in "open with" option

I have Photoshop 6.0.1 loaded and operational on my
computer. If I go to Windows Explorer and find a picture
I want to open, click on "open with", Photoshop is not
listed. How do I get it in the list of registered
programs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop
but that did not solve the problem.

When you go to "open with" select the "Choose program"
option. Find Adobe Photoshop in the list and and select
it. Check the box to "always open ..." and click OK.
Adobe Photshop should show up in your list next time you
use "Open with." If Photoshop is not in the list when you
select "Choose Program" then click the Browse button and
find the Photoshop program (probably C:\Program
Files\Adobe\Photoshop 6\Photoshp.exe, then Open it and
follow the instructions above.

Go to Windows Explorer>Tools>FolderOptions>File Types>Advanced Select
the file extension and then Change.
