Apple McIntosh to Win2000 Server ?

(Not sure if this is the right group, but ...) How do we
connect an Apple McIntosh laptop to a Windows 2000
Server ? We can connect to the LAN using TCP/IP and print
to the network printers fine. But we can't browse the
user directories on the server. We can see the file
server, but when we try and connect it does not show any
folders or files. There are no objects or error messages,
just an empty screen. Thanks in advance for any help ...
 
You need "Dave" (no not me) Dave is a software the provided NetBIOS over IP and SMB
capabilities to Apple Macs.

If it is OSX then this is a Unix based OS that uses Samba to provide NetBIOS over IP and
SMB capabilities.
