Append Queries in ACCESS 2000

Am using an Append query in a database that has been converted from ACCESS 97
to ACCESS 2000. The query examines a table via ODBC and appends results to a
table in my ACCESS database. Using 97 this used append > 100k records in no
time. In 2000 the query hangs. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Why don't you post the SQL, that way someone may be able to spot the problem.
