Append Error Message

Beep Beep

While importing a number of Excel files into Access I have come across one
file that I get the following message:

The contents of fields in 0 records () were deleted and 3466 records were
lost due to key violations

Any ideas how to resolve this. The file is a text file and there doesn't
seem to be any problem with the others.
 
My guess is that you are trying to update a field with text that is set to
number, or trying to update a field where the datatype is text with numbers.
 
Do you have a primary key that the Excel records may be duplicating?
