AoM - MSXML not installing!

Hey. I'm trying to play Age of Mythology, which requires
MSXML parser 4.0. Ok, so I try to use the XML installer
off the cd. It gives me a 2203 error part way through and
cancels. So I download it off of Microsoft's site. Same
thing happens. A 2203 error and it cancels part way
through.

Any ideas?
