aol modem

hey,

is aol actualy compatible with vista 32 bit yet or not because my bt modem
will not install properly and neither will aol. the only reason im on the
internet is because i have a wireless router (which my computer wont even
pick up) so i have enable it just to run from the ethernet cable and thats
how im on. there must be an easier way?

Not sure what your modem and router problems are, but AOL is not compatible
with Vista. I don't have a modem in my computer and am connected directly to
a router and also do have WiFi which works on all my other boxes connected
through my linksys router.

I recommend using Trillian for your AOL use. This program does work with
Vista and will allow you to sign in to one or more of your AOL accounts at
the same time, also Hot and MSN Mail and IRC and Yahoo. The interface is
very nice. Trillian does not have a dialer, so you have to have an active
internet connection to use it.
