AOL has disappeared

Everytime I've started aol today everything's gone to
640x480, eventually I found the aol icon properties and
noticed the "run in 640x480" option was ticked (don't
think I ticked it yesterday) thought problem solved, but,
started aol, didn't see starting,no sign-on prompt but
hear "welcome to aol message". If I uninstall aol can I
reinstall without a disc (they didn't send me one)? Is
there an alternative I can try? Am connected but no
browser.???

I didn't want to restart incase I lost my connection

altogether, but it seems ok now after restarting, thanks
