Account: 'imap.aol.com',

server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack

additional info:
I'm using my laptop connected at home to a wireless router.
I also disabled my anti-virus email scanner but that still didnt help.
I tried changing the SMTP server from 25 to 587 but still did not work.

Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Make sure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not enabled.
