aol dialup with outlook?

I have aol dial-up. How do I get outlook to work with aol dial-up. I am
returning to college and alot of my assignments, have to typed on word and
e-mailed to my prof as an email attachment. I can't get Word 2003 to do
this. I also cannot get outlook to do this.
