Hello. My brother's computer loads normally. My icons show up just fine but
when I click to log into the internet my page shows up blank. I'm able to
load online gaming. I tried to system restore but the screen is blank. The
CMD screens show up fine but when I try to restore that screen is slaso
blank. I get no error messages at all.
My screen shows up all white. Or MSN its the regular blue color but blank.
Thank you.

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time
things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the
malware/virus status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what
programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?

Be sure the computer is clean:

I think I'd answer the Second Question first in your case.

Mr Brother said that everything ran fine until he load nephews Ipod to
restore it.
A message window popped up saying something about "a certain time before
shut down."
He was able to complete the Ipod restore but when he clicked IE the page was
blank. There wasn't an error message but the page said "Done" at the bottom
of screen that it was loaded. I tried to system restore but the page is
blank. I'm able to do a CA Antivirus scan and it shows 16 infected file
that's related to Java.
It would start to scan but then freeze.
I tried to do a scan for malware but unfortunately my brother dowsn't have
it on his computer. I couldn't look for any to DL since my page is blank but
still the page says "Done" when it's loaded.
His Comp is Windows Xp w/ 2gb memory.

It sounds like there was an infected file on the iPod. You'll need to
clean up your computer per the instructions I gave you here:

http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Include scanning with either Sysclean or Multi_AV, plus Ewido. Do all
prep/finishing work and follow instructions to do all scans in Safe
Mode.

When all else fails, run HijackThis and post your log in one of the
specialty forums listed at the link above (not here, please).

All tools and updates required need to be downloaded from a different,
known-clean computer with an Internet connection. You will transfer the
programs/files to the sick computer either by burning a cd-r or on a
usb thumbdrive.

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).

I tried to do what you posted in last post BUT I'm having trouble still.
IE/ MSN browsers and I'm not able to see anything. The page loads but it's
still blank.
I also tried Help/Support and get the same problem but a blue blank page.
I ran "Last Good Configuration" and still nothing.
System Restore loads but still white blank screen.
Is there anything else that I can do besides taking it to an expert?
I'm a very patient person compared to my brother. Until I've exhausted ALL
possibilities, I won't let him take it in. Lol.
Thanks.

I'm sorry VEE, but I already told you the procedures I would use. You
need to get the removal tools and updates from a different computer,
like I said. If you have another computer available or you can do this
from a friend's computer, that's what you have to do. If you don't have
the ability to get the necessary removal tools, then you will either
have to take the machine into a shop or forget about it and
clean-install Windows.

Thank You Malke. I did everything that you suggested except the "Hijack
This"option. It cleaned the computer but pages were still blank. So
reinstalled Windows. Everything is fine now. Thank you for your help.
