Hi,

Wondering if Epson D88+ (inkjet) was any good?

My old Epson 830 has broken and needs a replacement. Although it was
slow when set to its best quality print mode, text documents came out
very well on quality paper - that's what I need for a replacement
printer.

Thanks, regards, dnw.

I've got one of these myself and have provided two additional units to a
school I provide with CIS enabled printers.

They do the job ok and you could do worse.. I should note I don't have
the + (plus) model but I can't think the difference would be too bad.

Worth noting as well that the SSC utility now resets the waste ink
counter (provided you haven't reached the service required point) which
allows you to fit an external waste ink tank which in turn allows you to
keep the thing going a lot longer.

You could do worse..
