Anyone know how this appeared on a freinds puter

He just booted up and went to log on and was given the choice of two accounts

One being his own obviously and the other called 'postgres service...s account'

Which is password protected


Any ideas

Could well be a hacker? had one similar a while back, the guy/girl had stored a lot of files on the PC he/she aint got them any more , have a look at the HDD AVAILABLE/USED ?

Do they use SQL?

Apparently he installed a program to play radio channels

Tht was summat to do with SQL however why the hell would a separate user have to b installed

PostgreSQL runs as a service, and thus it would make its own account

I use it on a handful of Windows Servers.
