Anyone ever used Microsoft Access Project?

if so, can you tell me if it is part of Access, or is it a separate
application altogether? if it is a part of Access, is it only available with
2003?
 
Access Project has been available since Access 2000.

It is not a separate application. Basically, Access Project (with file
extension ADP / ADE) is a database UI application using a MS-SQL / MSDE
database as the Back-End.
