"Review and sign the Agreements"
"Your MSN account is governed by the following agreements and
statements, which are collectively referred to as the Agreements:"

"MSN Service
Agreement"<https://accountservices.msn.com/pphmagreement.srf>

"MSN Privacy Statement"<don't know the url, since clicking on the link
just opens up the same page in a different window>

"Click each link above to open the Agreement in a new window, and then
print or save a copy of the Agreement. If you accept all of the
Agreements, sign them as a group by typing your e-mail address in the
box below exactly as shown, including punctuation. If you do not accept
the Agreements in their entirety and without modification, click the
Cancel button to discontinue sign-up."

"By typing my e-mail address in the box above and clicking the Accept
button, I am entering into, and agreeing to be bound by, all of the
Agreements. I understand that I am creating credentials that I can use
on other sites in the Passport Network. I am consenting to receive all
information from Microsoft in electronic form only. I also agree to
receive targeted advertisements and periodic member letter e-mail
messages from MSN. I understand that if I do not accept the Agreements
in their entirety without modification, I should click the Cancel button
to discontinue sign-up."

Needless to say, I didn't agree to any of this since I can't read all
that I'm agreeing to!

I don't understand where you saw this Kurt. I have a passport, use MSN
Messenger and use MSN for my home page but I don't have an MSN account - I
don't think! Was this for their internet service?

I got around it by deleting everthing having to do with:

http[munged]s://accountservices.msn.com/

from my temp inet folder.

It's weird, I've gone back to that page and now can get into the privacy
statement, but I can't sign in OR OUT, for that matter, to my msn page.

I munged the address so the click happy don't get stuck in a loop.

End result is that I didn't accept anything and can now access my msn
page again.

I think the next thing I'll do is create a throw away passport and
actually accept it to see what happens next, and then abandon it!

Here is what I saw at the page is at: accountservices.msn.com

I've made my own copy of it at:

All the links on the above page work but have been neutered and are
located at my domain.

The submit form has been neutered also.

Any links on any page after that go to pages at MSN.

Here is a list of those pages:

I've been having the same problem for 2 or 3 days, but only with one account. The other one works well, I mean I can get into my Hotmail Inbox without any problems.
I can use MSN Messenger with both accounts and Messenger informs me about new e-mails, but it is impossible to get into one Hotmail Inbox.
Deleting Temporary Internet Files temporarily solves the problem, but on the next Sign in the problem reappears.
When I delete those TIFiles and go to www.hotmail.com the web page looks 'normal' (I mean the window where you type your address and password. In the other case, that window looks quite different.
One more thing - I don't understand what exactly I am accepting on that Agreements page. I have had that account for nearly 3 years, and what am I signing up for now??? Also, I am not using any of those pay-for services - only the free email account
Has anyone tried to Accept or Cancel that agreement? What happened?
Thanx

Make sure you delete any passport and msn cookies along with the
temporary inet files. Now that I stopped playing around, trying to
figure out what is going wrong, I have yet to be nagged by it again.

I not sure why this is happening now. I seems MS update its service
agreement a couple of months ago, but if that was the reason it should
have happened then not now.

And I have my hotmail account setup in OE, and all during the time I
could logon to my msn page, I could still send and receive my hotmail.

Weird!
