We are running through our yearly disaster recovery drills here at my
company. I was wondering if anyone has successfully tested a disaster
recovery where you were able to restore a W2K3 Active Directory database
from tape. We have several DC's spread over various WAN links but I would
still like to know if it is possible to restore an AD database from tape.
BTW, a friend has told me that Microsoft has a procedure that is supposed to
allow you to do this but there are some gotcha's. He said that he was not
able to successfully restore his AD system even with Microsoft's help.
Thanks,
Fred
