I tried every possible way to recreate a pagefile and have
not had any luck with XP Home.

Anybody have any solutions?

The pagefile is recreated every time you start your computer.

Dude, I am having some serious problems with my pagefile
too. Hopefully your problem is not as bad as mine.

Too recreate a new pagefile you should:
1)Right Click on My Computer
2)Click on Properties
3)Click the Advanced Tab
4)Click on Performance>settings
5)Click the Advanced Tab
6)Set your pagefile

Another thing that is SUPPOSED to help is
boot from your CD, use the Automated System Recovery
and type:
cd\
copy c:\boot.ini pagefile.sys
del pagefile.sys

This is SUPPOSED to get rid of the temp pagefile
and restore your system settings that you did above.
HOWEVER, none of these things are fixing my problem.

The profile (aka logon) creating the "pagefile.sys" also needs to be a
member of the Administrators group.
