Hello,

does anyone know when SP2 for Windows XP Pro will be
released?

Thanks,
RooT

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world:
Those who understand binary and those who don't.

Dont worry about it, when it's done it's done

right now it's look like it will ship a little before Q2 of 2004

The current forecast for the release of SP2 for Windows XP is sometime
in the 3rd quarter of the year 2004 (next year).

I'm trying to decide if it's going to take so long because a) there
aren't any problems that need fixing (?) or b) there are so many that
it's going to take a long time, and need a lot of testing. 8>.

Nevertheless, SP2 has not been released. The hotfixes you mention
are candidates for inclusion in SP2 when it is eventually
released.

When will it be released? When Microsoft decides to release it.
Although guesses and estimates abound, *nobody* knows for sure.
