Is there any way to turn off the 2 beeps that the computer makes when you reboot? [ i know these are normal beeps, i'd just like to turn them off if possible] I know every computer is different, but does anyone know if the usual beep is made by the bios, or by windows? Is there a way to turn it off in windows, or is it more likey that its contorlled by the bios?
Thanks

Take the lid off your PC, find the internal speaker, and unplug it from the motherboard. Easy.

Yes, it's in the BIOS, and is refered to as the POST, and can be turned off.
