You need to contact your computer manufacturer from whom you purchased the
machine, if its still under warranty and let them repair the system to its
factory state or provide you with Windows Vista installation media. If you
have a friend who owns Windows Vista, you could borrow the installation disk
and attempt a repair installation with it.
Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and right-click
on the Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator".
Type in: SFC /SCANNOW and press your Enter key.
