If you have imaged your sysprep with norton ghost thier
image viewing software will not let you change any files.
But you can apply the image to a PC and then boot off the
windows XP Cdrom and go into repair mode. When you bring
up the console you can either edit the sysprep.ini with
the edit utility or copy a new sysprep.ini with you new
list of drivers and then reimage the box. Hope this helps
I setup a PC then I run sysprep and restart the PC to ghost
make an image of it then I can distribut that image to
other PCs like it.
What I would like to do and I know this is possible is to
set the pc to serch for all the drivers the next time it
boots. this way the pc image can be used on multiple types
of hardware (all Dells) instead of having an image for
each PC type that we use.
I have used KB artical 314082 to get started but it doesnt
seem to mak a difference but the Idea is there.
Hope this helps
