Any update for xp messenger in future??

Are they ever going to update the Windows Messenger? The
MSN messenger does not have the remote assistance option.
And I refuse to have any ads on my screen. Thanks if you
know the answer.

Greetings Jimmy,

Windows Messenger 5 should be released quite soon. MSN Messenger 5 and 6 does have the
Remote Assistance option (in Windows XP), but Windows Messenger *must* remain installed (but
not necessarily running).
