Read the environmental specifications provided by the manufacturer of
your specific server(s) for specific guidance. In particular,
operating a server outside the manufacturer's recommended environment
can void the warranty. Most typically recommend operation in the range
of 40° to 90° Fahrenheit (4° to 32° Celsius), with a maximum humidity
somewhere around 80%.
Having said that, remember also that the temperature _inside_ the the
computer's case will often be 40°F (22°C) or more higher than the
ambient room temperature, so you'd be wise to avoid the upper end of the
manufacturer's recommended temperature range. I'd set the thermostat of
the server room no higher than 68°F(20°C).
