My DVD rom drive just died and so instead of getting both why none
just one drive :)

Any reason to buy 8X media over 4X ??

Pioneer 107 OEM.

It takes half as long to burn a DVD.
 
Would help if i knew what half of it was :)

How long to burn a normal 4x DVD ??

It takes about 15 minutes to burn at 4x.
