Hello,

OE does not have any API. There are some discussions on the topic on
Newsgroups, search Google Groups. But it is very, very tricky task and lots
of low-level programming is involved.

I can't understand how some third party applications has plugged into OE. such as ICQ, cursormania, mywebsearch...

i think a method or a way exist to enable that.

Mhm... Hooking /is/ a solution, I know, but it's not very comfortable
(at least not as comfortable as Outlook's automatition and extensibility
interface).
