I also like this one. However you will require access to a news server
to use a news reader. I doubt your home ISP will allow NNTP access
from your work. You will need to create an account on a free news
server or end up being forced to use Google Groups.

When I used Free Agent on my flash drive it allowed me to access my
news server from anywhere as long as I provided the NNTP server
details.

Your ISP allows you to do that - some do, some don't.

Is sunsite one of those free news servers? I faintly recall having an
account with them last year.

Yes.. Sorry guys.. I use x-private news server that cost only a few bucks,
one time fee to set the account up
so I am not restricted by my ISPs newserver.. but indeed my ISP does have
this restriction.. only
if I am connected with it will it allow me to use its newserver...

Yes, I am subscribed to several news servers, Sunsite being one of
them. I have never had a problem retrieving newsgroups from any server
using my flash drive installation.
